HARRISONBURG, Va. – Shenandoah Valley Organic announced two changes to its executive leadership team. Jefferson Heatwole has been named chief sales officer, and Dorothy Muszynska has been named chief marketing officer.

Heatwole has held various roles since he joined Shenandoah Valley in 2015. He oversaw the company’s branded product sales strategy, initiated the “fully cooked” product development program and led the company’s move from bulk product sales to predominately retail sales

He will continue to lead the company’s sales, supply chain and customer service teams in addition to overseeing new product and business development.

Muszynska brings more than 15 years of experience in the food industry to the company’s newly created chief marketing officer position. Prior to Shenandoah Valley Organic she was founder/strategist/speaker at DM Marketing Group. She earlier was marketing director at Bevolution Group, and has held marketing positions at Kraft Foods Group, Fonterra, Tootsie Roll Industries and Juice Tyme.

“These executive leadership changes are a reflection of the company’s commitment to growth and investment in people,” said Shenandoah Valley Organic.
