LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Firefighters extinguished a small fire at a JBS USA pork processing plant, locally known as JBS Swift Pork Co., in Butchertown, Kentucky. The fire broke out at 10 a.m. July 29. No injuries were reported.

A spokesman for JBS said the fire occurred in the rendering area of the facility; the plant is now operating normally. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
