KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Processors who use Weber Inc.’s slicing systems are invited to attend Sanitation Symposium III, a learning and leadership event at the company’s North American headquarters on Oct. 9-11.

Numerous food safety experts will lead seminar presentations created to further develop and share industry best practices. Small group discussions will help build cross-company networks and facilitate problem-solving, according to Weber. Attendees also will see live demonstrations of both steam cleaning and wet cleaning.

“North American processors have posted a remarkable record of safety since our last Symposium in 2011, but this is not time to be complacent," said Norbert Muehlich, vice president. "The challenges of pathogen-free processing are ever changing and the best practices our speakers will discuss and share can help even the most successful companies stay vigilant.”

The event is free for Weber machine owners to attend. Registrations are being accepted online at www.weberslicer.com. Questions may be directed to Deb Cline at [email protected] or 1-800- 505-9591.
