BIBERACH, Germany – Thomas Kittle was appointed president of Handtmann Canada Limited, the company announced June 4. Kittle will also continue in his current role as president of Handtmann, Inc., the US subsidiary of Handtmann Maschinenfabrik.

“Tom Kittle brings a deep understanding of our equipment and a great sensitivity of our culture to his role here in Canada," said Thomas Handtmann, president of Handtmann Holding Company. "He possesses tremendous organizational skills and his processing expertise will help us build our business with the technical knowledge and trustworthy relationships that have been at the heart of our Handtmann success through four family generations since 1873.

"We have a strong team in Canada and Tom will be a good fit for them and a great partner for our Canadian customers.”

Kittle announced a restructuring of the Waterloo, Ontario-based Handtmann Canada headquarters. Graham Dalziel was named to the newly-created position of business development and sales manager. Dalziel has 25 years of experience in marketing and sales strategies, according to the company. He is returning to Handtmann Canada after working with the Ontario Independent Meat Processors Association in various areas such as food safety, compliance strategies and process controls.

“Supporting Graham in his new business development role and in his collaborative work with the field sales team is a significant step forward in speeding the transfer of Handtmann’s newest applications and most efficient technologies to the marketplace,” Kittle said.
