DALLAS — Brazil-based restaurant chain Fogo de Chão announced significant growth development planned through 2024. Adding to the 12 leases signed earlier this year, Fogo de Chão made 10 new agreements to bring the restaurant to more high-traffic retail, mixed-use and hospitality destinations.

The additional locations will support the brand’s 15% annual growth rate, which has been met for a third consecutive year.

“In the next year, we are committed to advancing our strategic expansion by securing leases and development agreements in not only new and existing cities, but also in new countries, paving the way to give guests the opportunity to experience Fogo around the world,” said Barry McGowan, chief executive officer of Fogo de Chão. “As we carry on the growth of our brand globally, we are eager to meet the rising demand and introduce the culinary art of churrasco to new and existing communities throughout the years to come.”

The Fogo de Chão brand strives to give customers an experience beyond the plate. Guests can dine at an open churrasco grill while watching gaucho chefs butcher and roast high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame. Additionally, in-house dry-aged meat lockers will display specialty meat cuts like a 32 oz long bone Tomahawk Ribeye, aged for a minimum of 42 days for rich flavor.

Slated to open in the third or fourth quarter of 2023 and throughout 2024 are the following locations: Santa Cruz, Bolivia; Vancouver, British Columbia; Orlando, Fla.; Schaumburg, Ill.; Towson, Md.; Brooklyn, NY; World Trade Center, NY; Toronto, Ontario; Richmond, Va.; Seattle, Wash.
