CASTLE ROCK, COLO. — Where Food Comes From Inc. (WFCF), a third-party verification company specializing in food production practices in North America, has been invited to ring the Nasdaq closing bell on Jan. 5, 2023. The ceremony celebrates the company’s up-listing to Nasdaq.

WFCF estimates that it supports more than 17,500 farmers, processors, retailers, distributors, trade associations, consumer brands and restaurants through its services.

“We are proud and honored to represent our entire team and shareholder base as we celebrate our up-listing to Nasdaq as the latest milestone in our company’s evolution,” said John Saunders, co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer of WFCF. “Where Food Comes From has consistently delivered revenue and profit growth throughout its tenure as a publicly held company, an accomplishment we attribute to our laser focus on providing customers and consumers with the most diverse array of food certifications in the industry.”

After opening remarks from Nasdaq, Saunders and Leann Saunders, co-founder, president and chief operating officer of WFCF, will speak at the event, which will be broadcast live at the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square. The ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded for replay by Nasdaq. Other platforms, such as financial media, Facebook Live and Twitter Live, will also provide a broadcast.

“It doesn't matter if it's a very seasoned CEO or a guest of the company — it's that 'wow' moment of seeing themselves on the seven-story tower,” Nasdaq President Nelson Griggs said on the Nasdaq website. “It's an emotional moment when they're here.”
