CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Real Good Food Co. announced the resignation of Deanna Brady as a board member of the company, effective immediately.

Brady decided to step away from the role after Real Good Food recently expanded its product portfolio, which is now similar to the offerings of her full-time employer, Hormel Foods Corp. Brady has worked with Hormel since 1996, and currently serves as executive vice president.

Real Good Food recently expanded into the frozen poultry and meat category by adding Chicken Nuggets and Strips. The health and wellness frozen foods company includes a product portfolio of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks across 16,000 retail stores in the United States.

“On behalf of the board of directors and executive management team, I wish to extend our gratitude to Deanna and thank her for her valuable contributions over the last year,” said Bryan Freeman, executive chairman of Real Good Food. “She has been an extraordinary leader and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. We are working towards identifying a replacement to fill Ms. Brady’s former roles as Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, as well as a member of the Audit Committee.”
