HAVERHILL, MASS. — Monogram Foods and its partners, Paradigm Properties and Dacon Corporation, released more details on the new 135,000-square-foot food production plant and distribution center being built in Haverhill, Mass.

Paradigm’s chief executive officer, Kevin McCall, said the facility will be completed in mid-2022. The facility will have 109,000 square feet of multi-temperature warehouse space along with 26,000 square feet of sandwich assembly area. This will be Monogram’s third location in Massachusetts.

“We’re excited to get this project underway to support Monogram’s ambitious business plan growth for this region,” McCall said.

The building will be designed for 300 employees and feature six work areas including freezers, cold storage, cool dock, dry goods storage, production and offices. The company said it would include process engineering, which is critical for operational efficiency and includes a state-of-the-art ammonia refrigeration system.

Memphis-based Monogram said the project was a collaborative effort with the City of Haverhill and Massachusetts Economic Development. Monogram provides its products through grocery, quick serve and retail channels for private labels and co-packed brands. There are also three licensed lines which include Butterball and Johnsonville.    

The company produces items such as meat snacks, hot dogs, corn dogs, pre-cooked bacon, smoked sausage, appetizers and other value-added meats.

Monogram has plant and warehousing facilities in Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Virginia and Wisconsin.
