LOUISVILLE, KY. – Papa John's International Inc. announced the appointment of Ann Gugino as chief financial officer, effective immediately. Steve Coke, who has been serving as interim principal financial and accounting officer, will continue in his role as vice president, Investor Relations and Strategy.

Gugino brings more than 20 years of financial management, planning and strategic expertise to her new role. She joins the company from Target Corp., where she served as senior vice president, Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to that, Gugino spent 18 years at publicly held Patterson Companies Inc., including four years as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In that role, Gugino led the company through a major portfolio transformation, including a major acquisition and divestiture.
