COLUMBUS, Ohio – Beginning in March, retail shoppers can avoid the drive-thru to buy the latest variety of slider from White Castle. The addition of the Turkey Slider, which is made with a Butterball turkey patty on a bun and topped with cheddar cheese, is the latest offering available in frozen-food cases of retailers, including grocery, dollar and convenience stores. The new product is sold in boxes of four sliders, according to the company.

Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle, said the company first began selling its Original Slider at retail more than 30 years ago and new products have been added to the line-up since then. Besides four types of breakfast sliders that are sold at retail outlets, White Castle also sells chicken, veggie and black bean sliders in frozen food cases.

“At White Castle, we’ve long been innovating in our restaurants to offer bold flavors for every palette,” Richardson said. “Today, we’re proud to offer menu items, both in our restaurants and in retail stores, that satisfy the many different cravings of our fans and the Turkey Slider is yet another addition.”
