KFC Nashville Hot Chicken served from a food truck
KFC plans to serve its new Nashville Hot Chicken from a food truck.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky Fried Chicken’s newest menu offering was created in Tennessee. KFC’s Nashville Hot Chicken will debut via food truck that is crisscrossing the country offering an advance tasting to consumers residing in eight cities named Nashville that don’t have a nearby KFC.

The food truck will be rolling into “Nashvilles” in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas and North Carolina.

Kevin Hochman, KFC US CMO, said the company tested Nashville Hot Chicken in Pittsburgh to favorable reviews.

“OK, none of this makes sense, but I can promise you KFC Nashville Hot will make perfect sense for your taste buds,” Hochman said.

The KFC Nashville Hot tour will kick off on Jan. 7 in Nashville Village, Ohio, and end Jan. 20 in Nashville Town, NC, with stops at six additional Nashvilles in between.
