COLUMBIA, SC – Kayem Foods announced a multi-year deal with the Univ. of South Carolina to manufacture and distribute Kayem franks and bratwurst at Williams-Bryce Stadium, Colonial Life Arena and Carolina Stadium during football, basketball and baseball games.

Franks sold at Gamecocks' sporting venues is a special recipe that includes a unique spice blend that delivers a distinct bolder flavor, Kayem reported.


"We're thrilled to partner with the Univ. of South Carolina to bring Kayem's signature high-quality taste to Gamecock fans and guests visiting Williams-Brice Stadium, Colonial Life Arena and Carolina Stadium," said Matt Monkiewicz, vice president of marketing at Kayem. "Our partnership with the university reinforces Kayem's efforts to expand our offerings throughout South Carolina and enables sports fans and hot dog lovers to enjoy our renowned franks and bratwurst while rooting for their beloved hometown teams."

Kayem has worked to increase market share throughout markets in the southeastern United States, including South Carolina. In 2013, Kayem rolled out its beef hot dogs in Publix Super Markets throughout the state. Kayem franks and sausages are now available at Publix locations in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee, and the company is looking to continue expansion in 2015.

Kayem brand franks and sausage also is the official frank and sausage of the National Hockey League's Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, Florida State Seminoles and Bobby Bowden Field and more.
