The update was supported by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

The law requires businesses register with FinCEN by Jan. 13, 2025.

The associations stated the need for meat in nutritional diets.

NCBA believes Brooke Rollins’ background could benefit the beef sector.

The campaign has been in full force for months.

The association said that recommendations were “out-of-touch, impractical and elitist.”

Still, the September deadline will not be enough time, NCBA said. 

The trade association received help from various members of Congress on the matter.

The coalition was led by NPPC and AFBF.
