BEIJING – China's National Bureau of Statistics released the country's first complete list of goods representing a consumer price index, according to Bloomberg.
The list includes duck, chicken, pigeon eggs, horse, donkey and camel meat, according to the report. The list does not include weighting of items. The National Bureau of Statistics reported in 2010 that roughly 4,000 people are collecting pricing information from 50,000 retail outlets, markets, hospitals and movie theaters in 500 cities and counties, Bloomberg said.
