The company said that in 2010 “excessive amounts” of antibiotics were found in raw chicken from two of its suppliers. The reported that KFC terminated its contract with Liuhe, one of China’s largest poultry companies. McDonald’s also bought meat from Liuhe and terminated its contract in December.
