Cory Douglas Allemang, an employee at Romans II, a meat processor in Norfolk, Neb., was charged in a three count indictment in January. In the indictment, he was accused of selling approximately 300 lbs. of sausages and approximately 400 lbs. of beef jerky by falsely representing that the meat products had been inspected by the US Department of Agriculture. Additionally, the indictment charged that in February 2012, Allemang falsely represented that various deer meat products had been inspected and approved by USDA.
Allemang's probation includes a provision that he not work in the meat processing business.
