SPRINGDALE, Ark – Tyson Foods Inc. subsidiary Tyson Deli has added new products to its bulk deli lineup – Russer Ham Off The Bone and Russer Honey Ham Off The Bone, as well as Wilson Ham Off The Bone and Wilson Honey Ham Off The Bone.

Research from Perishable Group Fresh Facts powered by Nielsen shows ham now represents the largest percent of meat purchases in the deli today. Nielsen further relays deli-prepared sandwich volume alone has increased by 11.7 percent. Tyson premium bulk deli hams and honey hams feature a rustic appearance and fresher-tasting slices, the company said, and are for all eating occasions including breakfast, lunch and dinner; this helps deli operators increase their bottom line.

The bulk deli innovations feature artisanal-appearing exteriors, balanced hickory smoke and off-the-bone flavor. The new hams and honey hams also feature a clean ingredient statement, lower sodium, no MSG and whole-muscle texture.
