BOCA RATON, Fla. – DNA Brands Inc., makers of DNA Meat Snacks and DNA Energy Drink, announced that the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) is now the third military agency to approve DNA meat snack products for sale to its consumers. Both the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) have already received shipments.

Combined, the operations of these three military exchanges manage several thousand facilities worldwide in more than 30 countries, five US territories and 50 states. The exchange operates some 147 retail stores and more than 2,000 fast-food restaurants, such as Taco Bell and Burger King.

According to the exchange, its mission is to provide quality merchandise and services of necessity and convenience to authorized customers at uniform low prices.

"We are once again pleased to have another military exchange grant approval for the sale of our meat snack products,” said Russ Rickon, vice president of sales. “In order to get to market as early as possible, we designed a special fully contained floor ‘shipper’ to attractively display DNA Beef Jerky Original & Teriyaki flavors and DNA Shred Stix, original, pizza, jalapeno and taco flavors. We expect the shipper program and our aggressive pricing will build customer loyalty and get us firmly positioned in the exchange's shelf programs on a permanent basis."
