ROSEMONT, Ill. – US Foodservice has acquired White Apron, a foodservice distributor of premium fresh meats based in Brea, Calif. The business will be integrated into the US Foodservice-Los Angeles division, in La Mirada, Calif. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Two White Apron protein specialists will join US Foodservice-Los Angeles division to serve customers.

"White Apron will continue to operate as a wholesale meat supplier and processor, supplying high-quality meats that help US Foodservice customers succeed."

White Apron will be a preferred supplier to US Foodservice of premium fresh meats in the Southern California market. White Apron will also continue to service its retail and other non-distribution customers.
