Double D Foods Inc. is a division of Downs Food Group and it produces fully cooked chicken, beef, pork and turkey products.

The closing date for this acquisition is expected to be late February or early March.
American Foods Group LLC is the fifth-largest beef processing company in the US and has more than 4,000 employees. Its brands division has developed products for foodservice, retail and school nutrition programs and they export to more than 38 countries. Manufacturing facilities include five beef slaughtering and processing plants, two ground-beef plants and two case-ready processing plants located in six states.
