ATLANTA – Starting Jan. 2, Chick-fil-A will offer a new Chicken Tortilla Soup nationally through March 31. Product is made with shredded boneless breast of chicken, among other ingredients. The menu item will be available in medium and large servings for $2.69 and $4.99, respectively.
Although the company does not have immediate plans to regularly offer limited-time products, it believes there is potential for limited-time only soup, said Woody Faulk, vice president of brand development. "Our new Chicken Tortilla Soup has been a regular menu offering at our Chick-fil-A Dwarf House and Truett's Grill restaurant concepts in the Atlanta area for more than a year and has developed a loyal following,” he added.
Chick-fil-A Inc. is the second-largest, quick-service chicken restaurant chain (based on sales) in the US, operating more than 1,600 restaurants in 39 states and Washington, DC.
