DALLAS – 7-Eleven stores is launching its Maple Sausage Breakfast Roller this month. Product is a maple-flavored pancake wrapped around a pork sausage link served hot off the roller grill. Available exclusively at participating 7-Eleven stores, the new offering was developed for the company by Kraft Foods and is priced at $1 each.

The Maple Sausage Breakfast Roller contains 270 calories. Although considered as the most important meal of the day, breakfast is still skipped daily by 10 percent of Americans, according to a recent study. That number is even higher for men ages 18 to 34, 7-Eleven's target demographic, at 28 percent.

Based in Dallas, Texas, 7-Eleven operates more than 8,900 7-Eleven stores in North America. Internationally, there are approximately 43,700 7-Eleven stores in 16 countries. During 2010, 7-Eleven stores worldwide generated total sales close to $63 billion.
