DALLAS – Whataburger’s Chop House Cheddar Burger, which was first introduced in the summer of 2009, is back on the menu through Aug. 2 at all Whataburger locations. This offering features two grilled 100% refrigerated American beef patties, topped with grilled onions, melted shredded cheddar cheese, two slices of bacon and steak sauce on a toasted five-inch bun.

"Last year's launch of the Chop House Cheddar Burger was successful because customers enjoyed the combination of savory flavors and real shredded cheddar cheese," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger Restaurants LP group director of marketing.

The Chop House Cheddar Burger is available in two sizes, regular or junior, and alone or in a combo meal with a drink and French fries. Suggested retail prices may vary by location but are listed as Chop House Cheddar Burger Sandwich, $4.79; Chop House Cheddar Burger Meal; $6.79; Chop House Cheddar Burger Junior Sandwich, $3.69; and Chop House Cheddar Burger Junior Meal, $5.19.

With annual sales of more than $1 billion, Whataburger, based in San Antonio, Texas, operates more than 700 locations in 10 states.
