LOUISVILLE, KY. — Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, recently introduced a new pizza-related item that will be rolling out in the United States.

The quick-service restaurant introduced the Chizza, which will be on the menu starting Feb. 26.

The item features two fried chicken filets topped with marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.

According to KFC, the Chizza was first made available on menus in the Philippines in 2015 before expanding around the world to Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Germany, Spain and Mexico, along with other countries.

“The fan-favorite mashup is finally available in the US after making its way around the world. Try it while you can,” said Nick Chavez, chief marketing officer of KFC US.

The Chizza can also be ordered as a combo meal with Secret Recipe Fries and a medium drink.
