TUCKER, GA. – The USPOULTRY Foundation announced that National FFA officer candidates will attend the International Poultry Expo (IPE), which is part of the upcoming International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta. With this program, students receive an all-expense paid trip to IPE.

“The USPOULTRY Foundation recognizes that attracting the top students from across the country to be tomorrow’s young managers, leaders and scientists will have a tremendous impact on the future of the poultry industry,” said Nath Morris, president of USPOULTRY and its foundation. “The investment in the National FFA officer candidates to attend IPPE is a great vehicle to help accomplish that.”

The association added that the officer candidates are leaders who excel in FFA and have already demonstrated an affinity for agriculture and food production.

The officer candidates, who are college freshmen and sophomores, are also eligible to participate in the USPOULTRY Foundation College Student Career Program and interview for industry opportunities. Students also can access potential internships and receive insights from leaders in the industry.

While at IPPE, officer candidates can visit the trade show floor and attend education programs during the Expo week.
