SOUTH BEND, IND. — Stanz-Troyer, a foodservice distribution holding company in Indiana, announced it will now operate under a new unified brand named Raydia Food Group.
“Raydia Food Group will now be the cohesive platform to help fuel growth for Stanz, Troyer’s, and other foodservice brands we may acquire,” said Moe Alkemade, chief executive officer of Raydia. “The creation of Raydia Food Group is a strategic decision designed to fast track growth for our employees, investors and customers. Most importantly, this cohesive platform enables other local food distribution companies that wish to join the Raydia family to retain their individual culture and heritage.”
The new Raydia Food Group platform enables existing Stanz and Troyer’s customers to continue to benefit from the unified company’s services.
Raydia earns $500 million in sales across all its key markets, including foodservice, restaurants, butcher shops, convenience stores, school nutrition, government and supermarkets.
With the new platform, the company anticipates job growth, the adoption of new technologies and equipment, and expansion into new geographic markets.
The company’s 450 employees will remain in their current roles and responsibilities.
Stanz and Troyer’s will each retain their unique brand equity, customers and long-term viability while operating under Raydia Food Group.
In March 2022, Stanz and Troyer’s merged as a Midwest independent foodservice distribution company.
