CLARYVILLE, KY. — A Tyson Foods employee was flown to a hospital on Oct. 23 after getting injured by a piece of machinery, according to media reports.

Tyson confirmed the reports, noting that the worker is now stable.

“The safety, health and well-being of our team members is our top priority,” a Tyson spokesperson told MEAT+POULTRY. “A team member at our Claryville, Ky., facility was injured. We are thankful for the rapid response of local EMS who were crucial to getting the team member the medical attention needed, and we can report he is now in stable condition.”
