KIELER, Wis. ─ Food safety and contract sanitation provider Packers Sanitation Services Inc. (PSSI) announced Vipul Soni as the next chief financial officer for the company.

Before working for PSSI, Soni worked as CFO of ServiceMaster Brands.

“I am very excited to join such a dedicated and talented executive team,” Soni said. “I am committed to driving our financial strategy that will not only benefit our stakeholders, but also reinforce our mission to provide unparalleled food safety solutions.”

Soni will lead PSSI’s finance organization in his new role and be responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, procurement, tax, information technology and investor relations.

Prior to ServiceMaster, Soni worked for nine years at Brynwood Partners, a private equity firm that specializes in consumer products. He also worked for 14 years at Procter & Gamble, where he held various leadership positions, including financial planning and analysis.

“We are pleased to welcome Vipul to PSSI, and I am confident that Vipul’s expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in driving our financial success and achieving our strategic goals,” says Tim Mulhere, chief executive officer of PSSI. “We look forward to working together and leveraging his valuable insights to propel our business forward.”

Mulhere came on as CEO of PSSI in April following the Department of Labor (DOL) investigation earlier in 2023. The agency issued a $1.5 million fine and claimed that PSSI employed at least 102 workers from 13 to 17 years of age to clean meatpacking plants.
