SPRINGDALE, ARK. – On Jan.12, Tyson Foods announced its annual shareholders meeting for 2022 will be held in a virtual format only due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases associated with the omicron variant. Tyson decided to hold the meeting virtually to protect the health and well-being of the shareholders and other participants. All shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 13, 2021, will be entitled to attend, submit questions and vote electronically at the virtual annual meeting by visiting www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/TSN2022.

The meeting webcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. Central Time on Feb. 10 with online access starting at 9:45 a.m. Central Time. Tyson encourages attendees to access the meeting prior to the start. Participants will not be able to attend without internet access.

Votes not cast by proxy via the internet, by telephone or by mail prior to the start of the meeting, may be cast via the virtual meeting website during the meeting by following the instructions provided during the webcast on the meeting website. Both shareholders of record and beneficial owners will need the 16- digit control number included in their notice of internet availability of proxy materials to attend and vote during the meeting.

Tyson Foods’ shareholders will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance of the annual meeting at http://www.proxyvote.com  and during the meeting at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/TSN2022 using the 16-digit control number. Attendees can submit questions using the question feature of the virtual meeting page on the link listed above. Questions will be addressed in writing, if pertinent to meeting matters, as soon as practical after the meeting.
