CHARLOTTE, NC. – Bojangles is the latest quick-service restaurant to add a chicken sandwich to its menu with the Bo’s Chicken Sandwich.

It features a chicken breast with buttermilk coating and spices along with zesty mayonnaise and dill pickles. The product will be available at locations across the country.

“Bojangles knows a thing or two about delicious, perfectly flavored chicken served right, so who better to give fans a chicken sandwich that is sure to please,” said Marshall Scarborough, chef and vice president of menu and culinary innovation for Bojangles. “And we can say with confidence that Bo’s Chicken Sandwich is so cluckin’ good you know it could only be Bojangles.”

Bo’s Chicken Sandwich will retail at $3.99 at participating restaurants. Bojangles was founded in 1988 and has more than 760 locations in 14 states.

In late 2018, private equity firms Durational Capital Management LP and The Jordan Co. bought the franchise for nearly $600 million.

Chicken sandwiches continue to sustain popularity in foodservice following the chicken sandwich wars between Popeyes and Chick-fil-A, which started in 2019.
