DENVER — Quiznos announced the Pit-Smoked Brisket sandwich as a limited time item on its menu. The sub features meat that has been smoked for 13 hours and is topped with cheddar cheese, red onions, pickles and a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce.
“Like all our sandwiches, the Pit-Smoked Brisket is made with butcher-quality meats and toasted artisan bread to give customers the taste they’ve come to expect from a Quiznos sandwich,” said Sheila Zimmerman vice president of marketing for REGO Restaurant Group who owns Quiznos.
The Pit-Smoked Brisket sandwich will be available at participating locations from July 30 until Oct. 21.
Quiznos also added three meat-filled salads in its permanent lineup. The Italian salad features four Italian meats including pepperoni, salami, capicola and ham. It is topped with mozzarella, black olives, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions and a red wine vinaigrette.
The Chef salad includes ham, turkey, and bacon along with swiss cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and ranch dressing. Finally, the Apple Harvest Chicken salad is made with honey-Dijon chicken salad, apples, dried cranberries, cucumber, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds and is topped with an apple cider vinaigrette.
