ATLANTA – The 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), which wrapped up its three-day run at the Georgia World Congress Center Feb. 14, is recording its largest show on record with approximately 33,000 attendees. The show also featured 1,420-plus exhibitors with more than 600,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space occupying three halls of the Congress Center Feb. 12-14. The annual tradeshow is sponsored by the US Poultry & Egg Association, American Feed Industry Association and the North American Meat Institute.

“We are thrilled with the excitement and energy displayed by this year’s attendees and exhibitors. The expanded trade show floor and attendee and exhibitor numbers continue to complement IPPE’s comprehensive education sessions, valuable networking opportunities and extensive exhibits showcasing the latest innovative technology, equipment and services for our industries,” according to the three sponsoring organizations.

IPPE exhibitors displayed the newest technology in equipment, supplies and services for the production and processing of meat, poultry, eggs and animal food products. In addition, there was more than 200 hours of education sessions offered over the three-day show.

Other featured events during IPPE week included the International Poultry Scientific Forum, the Latin American Poultry Summit, Beef 101 and Pork 101 workshops, the Pet Food Conference and the International Rendering Symposium. The on-floor TECHTalks program and Event Zone activities provided attendees with entertainment and educational opportunities.
