The 2017 event drew 14,000 attendees and included more than 500 exhibitors.
 
MCLEAN Va. – Show organizers of the Food Processors Suppliers Association’s (FPSA) 2017 Process Expo, held Sept. 19-22 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, recapped the success of the event, which included the participation of over 500 exhibitors and drew more than 14,000 attendees from the food processing industry.  The event was highlighted by several features, including on-floor demonstrations of integrated production lines running real product; avirtual reality showroom; a diverse array of educational sessions; a beer Garden highlighting FPSA’s partnership with Germany’s IFFA/Messe Frankfurt show; a
meeting of the new FPSA Women’s Counciland more. The organization said in a statement, “…this year Process Expo reinvented the show experience.”

The event also built on the FPSA members’ commitment to donate food and resources to the Greater Chicago Food Depository by contributing 400,000 meals as part of the Defeat Hunger campaign.

Tom Kittle, chairman of FPSA, thanked the show’s attendees, exhibitors and sponsors for contributing to its success.

"We would like to thank our exhibitors, attendees, sponsors, partners and all of the FPSA committees for their hard work and dedication in making this year's Process Expo an important gathering for the food and beverage processing industry," Kittle said. "After two years of planning, it was nice to see everything come together, and even better to see attendees and exhibitors enjoy a very productive and successful show.”
