ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Domino's Pizza is opening its first store in Slovakia, in the capital city of Bratislava. The pizza chain now operates in more than 85 markets worldwide, with more than half its global sales coming from international stores.

"Our global store growth momentum means that we're opening many beautiful new stores worldwide and attracting new customers to our dynamic brand. We're excited that customers in Bratislava can now experience the quality, delicious pizzas enjoyed by Domino's fans around the world," said Ritch Allison, president of Domino's International.

Daufood, the master franchisee for Domino's Slovakia, has opened the store in cooperation with its local franchisee APIM Gastro, led by Ivan and Mario Apostolov. The new two-story store features an open-concept design. Customers can watch their pizzas being made. Residents of Bratislava will be able to order pizzas online and get deliveries by electric bikes.
