SPRINGDALE, Ark. – Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. promoted Todd Nogelmeier to vice president, foodservice sales.

In his new post, Nogelmeier will lead and direct the sales activities for the Tyson Fresh Meats national accounts foodservice sales team which includes sales of beef and pork to broadline and chain accounts. Nogelmeier has 27 years of experience in sales and boxed beef pricing. He spent the last 10 years as president of Tyson Fresh Meats’ Midwest Service Center, where he oversaw sales in a 16-state region.

Nogelmeier started his career in the meat industry at IBP, Inc. in Dakota City, Nebraska, while attending South Dakota State Univ. in Brookings. He joined IBP full time as a quality-control supervisor after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Beef Production. Tyson Foods acquired IBP in 2001.
