The expansion allows the company to host visitors and partners to witness and learn more about TREIF’s wide variety of cutting capabilities and expertise by conducting cutting demonstrations and offering training and education. Reifenhäuser chronicled how the company, founded by his father, Toni Reifenhäuser 68 years ago, has grown to include 420 employees with the capability to manufacture approximately 2,800 machines per year, with more than 45,000 machines installed throughout the world.
After congratulatory speeches were made by Uwe Huser, secretary of state of the ministry for commerce, climate protection, energy and regional planning; Michael Lieber, district administrator of the district of Altenkirchen; and Ottmar Fuchs, mayor of Flammersfeld, Ingo Dittrich, the project’s architect, handed over the ceremonial key to Reifenhäuser.
“With the new building, TREIF wants to expand and strengthen the customer focus,” said a company statement. “The whole team is looking forward to soon welcoming customers from all over the world here.”
