MIAMI – Over 200 invitation-only guests attended a burgundy (the new eatery’s brand color) carpet event to sample BurgerQ menu items and 16 craft beers from the restaurant’s interactive, one of a kind “beer wall.” The unique guest list included media, city officials and celebrities.
Diana Rodriguez presented husband-and-wife owners Gabriel and Maria Teresa Arguello with an official welcome plaque on behalf of Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez. President of Chamber South, Mary Scott Russell, presented the owners with a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork on behalf of the chamber of commerce.
"We are so appreciative for the welcome we have received by the city and local community. We deigned our space to be inviting, with ‘earthy’ textures, open layout and kitchen, and retro-upscale décor. As owners, we are elated to share our ‘backyard BBQ’ concept. We look forward to serving our local community and hope they appreciate what we have created," Maria Teresa Arguello stated.
BurgerQ designed the menu in the spirit of the traditional burger and barbecue spot; casual, welcoming and family friendly. Dishes include grilled-to-order burgers, fresh salads, handmade shakes, fresh sides, chicken wings, french fries and homemade sauces.
