WASHINGTON – A label-verification procedure uncovered an undeclared allergen in pork tenderloin products made by StoneRidge Wholesale Division LLC. The Wautoma, Wis., establishment later initiated a recall of 31,851 lbs. of pork tenderloin.

The affected products include 1- to 2-lb. vacuum sealed packages of “StoneRidge Roasted Garlic Pork Tenderloin.” The pork tenderloins contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported. There have been no reports of illness.

The pork tenderloins were produced on various dates from March 2 through Mar. 16. The products bear the establishment number “EST. M33989” inside the USDA mark of inspection and “use or freeze by” dates through Apr. 30, 2015. FSIS said the pork products were shipped to retail locations in Illinois and Wisconsin.
