MADISON, Wis. – Mark Magnesen, a 24-year veteran at Kraft Foods, was promoted to president of Oscar Mayer, according to theWisconsin State Journal.

Before his promotion, Magnesen was general manager of the Planters Business Unit at Kraft Foods, a position he has held since July 2012, according to his Linkedin profile. He also served as senior vice president of finance and senior vice president - Finance & Treasurer.


He holds a bachelor of science in accountancy from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of management, finance, marketing and strategy from Northwestern Univ. Kellogg School of Management.
