Tyson Foods Any'tizers buffalo-style chicken wings
Consumers complained of “off odor” from chicken wings.

WASHINGTON – A Tyson Foods Inc. facility in Pine Bluff, Ark., announced a recall of approximately 52,486 lbs. of chicken wings on concerns the products may be adulterated, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the US Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) reported.

Tyson officials discovered the problem after receiving consumer complaints about Tyson Any’tizers having an “off odor.” Mild illness also was associated with consumption of the products, FSIS said. However, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the chicken, the agency noted.

The fully cooked buffalo-style chicken wings were produced on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 and bear the establishment number “P-13456” inside the USDA mark of inspection as well as on the back of the bag above the heating instructions.
