Pasternak will make recommendations and give advice on how consumers can optimize their lean protein consumption through snacking. He will make Oberto products available to his clients and he will talk about the benefits of Oberto's jerky.

"Obertois excited to be working closely with such an authority as Harley on fitness and nutrition with our America's PROtein campaign. Harley knows the significance of lean protein and the role our all natural beef jerky has in snacking well," said Greg Yahn, vice president of marketing for Oberto Brands. "We're working with him to ask consumers to be more aware of what they eat, turn over the bag and compare our real, simple ingredients with the other options."

Pasternak has a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Sciences and an Honors Degree in Kinesiology. He is a bestselling author, who has trained prominent actors such as Halle Berry and musicians such as John Mayer.

"My clients come to me asking for help in preparing for a new role and character, or to simply get in better shape. I've found that nutrition is a key part of this process which is too often overlooked. Studies show exercise is more effective with a moderately high protein diet," Pasternak said. "Professional athletes, active individuals, nutritionists and trainers all recognize the importance of lean protein. Deciding which protein you consume should be easy — keep it simple and avoid preservatives and artificial ingredients. That's why I've chosen to partner with Oberto."
