SAN DIEGO – Jack in the Box recently added a new burger with a twist to its Buttery Jack line. The new Triple Bacon Buttery Jack features savory, melted bacon butter in addition to slices of bacon.
Jack in the Box will officially debut the limited-time offering in a commercial on Facebook. The commercial also will air on television for the first time on Feb. 5. The 30-second ad features two teenagers who successfully hack into the email account of Jack in the Box’s mascot, Jack.
Within Jack’s email, the two teens discover the recipe for the new Triple Bacon Buttery Jack, and share it. Also within Jack’s email are “never-before-seen secrets and pictures,” the company said.
“We knew we were on to something special when we created the Buttery Jack line,” Iwona Alter, CMO at Jack in the Box, said in a statement. “The new Triple Bacon Buttery Jack builds on our legacy of buttery burgers, offering a unique and innovative twist with our secret ingredient, bacon butter. We think our loyal guests, as well as new customers will love the burger’s decadent flavors and standout ingredients.”
