Chipotle is re-releasing its smoked brisket menu option three years after it debuted. Available for a limited time at participating locations in the United States and Canada, the product combines smoked brisket seared on a plancha with spices like smoked serrano chili pepper and chipotle chili pepper and a brisket sauce made with smoky chili peppers.
Quiznos has promoted the Lobster & Seafood Sub from a limited-time offering to its permanent menu. The sandwich features lobster, seafood salad and lettuce on Italian white bread. Quiznos also will offer the product in a salad format for health-conscious consumers.
“Whether we offered the special sub as a limited-time offer early in the year or as seasonal summer fare, our guests made it clear they were hungering for more,” said Gregory Boudreaux, vice president of operations and brand leader at Quiznos’ parent company, REGO Restaurant Group. “Their voices have been heard, and we’re thrilled to satisfy their cravings by bringing this clear favorite back to our menu permanently.”
Casey’s has merged the jalapeño popper appetizer and the pizza format with its latest offering. The pizza is topped with Philadelphia-branded whipped cream cheese, bacon, a cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend, mild pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey for an additional kick.
