LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas' state Senate unanimously approved a bill that would declare Springdale, Ark., the "Poultry Capital of the World," according to ArkansasOnline.com. Springdale is home to Tyson Foods, Inc.

The designation would be written into state law that names the state's official flower, motto and bird. The idea is part of a plan to market Springdale, which is in Northwest Arkansas. The proposal, which is headed to the state House for consideration, does not require state funding, ArkansasOnline.com reports.
