SÃO PAULO, Brazil – Frank M. Ravndal, Jr. will assume the position of CEO of Keystone Foods effective Feb. 17, according to its parent company Marfrig Group. He succeeds William Andersen, who held the position on an interim basis. Keystone is a subsidiary of Marfrig.

Ravndal will lead 13,000 employees working in the more than 17 R&D and production units of Keystone Foods in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Latin America. He will report to Sergio Rial, the CEO of Seara Foods, which is the business segment of the Marfrig Group formed by the companies Seara Alimentos, Moy Park and Keystone Foods.

Ravndal spent 17 years in various positions at Cargill, most recently serving as CEO of its Thermal Energy Supply Chain. He also served as CEO of Cargill North America Power and Gas and of Cargill Americas Grain and Oilseeds Crush Businesses. Before joining Cargill, he worked at companies in the financial industry in Venezuela.
