QUEENSLAND, Australia – Inglewood Farms, Australia's largest organic poultry farm, was sold to a family-owned agribusiness group in Southern Queensland. It is a free-range poultry farm capable of housing 300,000 chickens and has earned approximately an 80 percent market share of the country’s organic poultry meat market, according to ABC Rural. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed.

Since parent company RM Williams Agricultural Holdings went into administration in June this year, the business had been in the hands of receivers. Many businesses were reportedly interested in acquiring it.

"There were nearly 50 interested parties, both domestically and globally,” said receiver Greg Quinn.
