DRAPER, Utah – An employee at Dale T. Smith and Sons Meat Packing Company in Draper died Oct. 17 after being crushed by loading equipment, according to local news reports.

Camacho Guillermo Borcequin, 52, was operating a skid-steer loader when the bucket jammed. Police said Borcequin was trying to dislodge the bucket when he was crushed between the loader and a trailer. He died at the scene.


The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Draper City Police Department and the Utah Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the accident.

Dale T. Smith and Sons processes beef cattle for commercial and retail customers, according to the company's website. The company specializes in bulk order of ribeyes, fillets, tenderloin, ground beef, flats, brisket, shank, tip, hock and chuck. The company has been in business for more than 50 years.
