STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Pork cuts imported into Sweden were dyed to look like beef, according to UPI.com.

Roughly 95.5 tons of dyed pork cuts were imported, and 70 tons of it already has been sold, according to the report. The meat was imported from two Hungarian companies, according to UPI.com.

Sweden has been importing the product from the companies for two years, and it was sold in grocery stores across the country. A food wholesaler uncovered the deception after receiving a customer complaint regarding the meat, which was labeled as Argentinean tenderloin.
