JEFFERSON, Wis. – An appeals court ruled in favor of six Tyson Foods employees who filed a donning-doffing suit against the company, according to the Associated Press.

The 4th District Court of Appeals reversed a lower-court ruling in favor of Tyson. The lower court ruled that Tyson did not have to pay for donning-doffing activities because putting on and taking off gear was not integral and indispensable to their jobs. But the appeals court disagreed, saying donning-doffing is integral to their jobs, and the workers should be paid for those activities.
