BOLINGBROOK, Ill. – Quantum Foods LLC announced John Morrissey was appointed executive vice president, sales and marketing, and Herman Brons was appointed chief financial officer. Morrissey and Brons will report to Peter Brown, president.

Morrissey spent seven years at Cargill, where he held various executive positions with the company. Most recently, he served as vice president, national accounts sales. Morrissey brings more than 25 years of sales experience in all segments of the food industry, including previous positions with Unilever, ConAgra Foods and Sara Lee.

Brons acquired increasing levels of responsibility in his 17 years with CSM, including CFO of significant operating divisions in the United States. CSM is the leading provider of bakery products, bio-based food ingredients and bio-chemicals. Before joining CSM, Brons worked for eight years as an auditor at KPMG in New York and the Netherlands.
